CHAMPION CROWNED BY SEGA
GAMEWORKS BISON AND RIFLE TOURNAMENT
WRAPPED UP ON JUNE 18, 2006
Elk Grove Village, IL June 20, 2006 Congratulations to ADAM of Mt. Prospect, IL who put up an impressive score of 59,840 at the Schaumburg GameWorks location to walk away with a brand new 4GB Apple iPod nano and the right to call himself the most extreme hunter in the country. The Bison and Rifle tournament, which took place at 6 GameWorks locations from June 3rd-18th, produced winners from all across the country. Bringing home the 2nd prize, a Canon A530 Digital Camera, with a score of 58,125 was MR. FEELGOOD from the Miami store location. CSK MONEY from Kirkland, WA and representing the Seattle GameWorks location earned a score of 55,050, which was good enough for third place and a pair of Motorola Talk About 2-way radios.
Other winners taking home a GameWorks, SEGA, and Buckmasters Ltd. prize pack were the top three finishers from each participating GameWorks location. For Columbus, OH, top finisher was JUGGERNAUT with a score of 42,494, followed by MICKEY, and JOSH; in Detroit, MI, the top finisher was JAMES with a score of 49,713, followed by GJON PUSHKA and GOOK; representing Miami as the top local placer with a score of 50,943 was MONTAGUE, followed by SIRKIN and DEFAULT; top placer in Minnesota with a score of 50,272 was CZAR, followed by ACEFG// and EARLYFLOYD; PETER GREEK took home top local honors from Schaumburg with a score of 45,529, followed by JIMI and DANIEL Z; in Seattle it was a tight race with the top three local finishers also placing 4, 5, and 6 in the country, top honors went to HUNTER23 with 54,807, followed by SARA with 52,822, and wrapping up the local winners with a score of 51,356 was SEDOBRU. (Scores are not official until Sega receives all prize declaration forms from winners).
Sega had the help of great promotional sponsors GameWorks and Buckmasters Ltd. in supplying the prizes for this tournament. Sponsor prizes included GameWorks vouchers and Buckmasters hats, t-shirts, books, videos and other apparel.

The GameWorks Bison & Rifle tournament was the first tournament for Sega's Extreme Hunting 2 - Tournament Edition and new ALL.Net system, but it certainly will not be the last. With future tournaments already being planned, the future of Extreme Hunting 2 and ALL.Net is very exciting.
